A Labour of Love

Welcome to NBN Confections! Naughty By Nature Confections began as a labour of love for my little-one and turned into a need to feed the masses unique, delicious, pretty little cakes. I was tired of waxy frosting, dry cake and the inevitable tummy ache that followed the albeit beautiful, mass produced cupcakes that came from the boutique bake shops that seem now to have become a dime a dozen. I would try this Bake Shop and that Bake Shop and quickly discovered that it was all the same. Certainly not worth the $30+ per dozen that I was spending.

Naughty Indulgence

I came up with “every-man-woman-and-child” recipes. Flavours like Vanilla-Lychee, Coconut on Coconut on COCONUT, and the wildly favorited Lemon Earl Grey set the taste buds alight. I was still making Chocolate and Vanilla, but designer cupcakes and desserts that are geared towards the more discerning palate and, more and more inspired by cultural diversity, had become my best sellers.

From the naughty indulgence of pretty little cakes made from a perfectly balanced combination of butter, sugar, flour and all good things—and just like that Naughty By Nature Confections was born!
